According to the United Nations' latest study on the global economical situation and prospects in 2023 (UN planet economical Situation and Prospects 2023) China, the world's second largest economy, is expected to make “moderately” after weaker than expected last year.
UN experts anticipate China to outrun Western economies this year by further beginning up, waiving zero-Covid policies and mitigating monetary and fiscal policies.1 Although the beginning of this year may be for the local economy “bumpThe Chinese economy can increase by 6% or even 6.5% y/y over the full 2023.
The same study predicts that the EU average for GDP growth in 2023 will be 0.2% y/y and 0.4% y/y for the US.

According to the latest data from the Chinese Statistical Office1 Inflation in consumer prices and services (CPI) increased to 2.1% y/y in January but does not exceed the 3% target.2
Looking at the readings of the Chinese CPI over the long term, it can be concluded that the Chinese economy is not threatened by inflation, but alternatively by deflation. The concern of the decision-makers liable for steering China's economy will be to keep economics in a safe area between inflation and deflation, to exceed the limits set in China's transient and upcoming economical plan.
The 4th period in a row is falling maker prices (PPI). This is simply a trend indicating a worsening stagnation in Chinese industry.3 In January, the PPI index decreased by 0.8% compared to the reading from last year.

New Race
And China was hit by the “fever” associated with the Chat GPT application.1 The largest tech and net companies like Alibaba (阿里巴巴), Tencent (腾讯), Baidu (百度), NetEasy (网易), or JD.com (京东) started the race, about which 1 of them will first launch on its platform an application akin to that created by Open AI.2 The decisive issue and challenge is the handling of Chinese. The first 3 local technology giants (Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu) announced the launch of their own Chat GPT applications available to users of online platforms of these companies as early as March and April.3
Media support companies in their race and comment on progress. On the 1 hand, there is simply a immense marketplace to take over, but the younger part of public opinion is more intrigued by the fact that Chat GPT does not request to be so hard to learn and study. The application may say (according to media information) to compose essays on a given subject, or even bigger things, specified as credits, trials. A fresh technological, business and social problem is emerging.

What does the Chinese Ministry of abroad Affairs say?1
of U.S. president Joe Biden's words in a state message that the United States is pursuing competition alternatively than conflict with China and will cooperate with them in the name of American interests, but if China threatens US sovereignty, the United States will act to defend the country: "China has always believed that Chinese-American relations are not a zero-sum game in which individual loses and individual else wins, individual grows and individual else falls. The success of China and the United States is an opportunity, not a challenge.
China does not avoid or fear competition, but opposes the definition of the overall US-China relation by the prism of competition. Under this banner there is simply a run to slander China, exerted force to limit their legitimate improvement rights, and even to work towards destroying global supply chains. This is not the way a liable country behaves."2
on the message by NATO Secretary-General J. Stoltenberg on China's activities in Asia, the Indo-Pacific region and Europe: On the 1 hand, NATO breaks down its conventional defence zones, requiring associate States to increase military spending and make military force, and on the another hand makes irresponsible remarks about China, which is simply a typical double standard. China follows the way of peaceful improvement and is besides a country with large achievements in terms of peace and security. China has never attacked any country3, they have never engaged in indirect wars (proxy wars), nor any military operations in the world. They have besides never threatened to force another countries. NATO should abandon its cold-war mentality, ideological prejudice, and seriously reflect on the function it should play for the stableness of Europe and the world, alternatively of inciting contradictions and repeating the “threat of China”.
with the removal of cameras (made in China) installed in certain government buildings of Australia: The Chinese government has always encouraged Chinese companies to make cooperation with abroad companies and investors in accordance with global marketplace rules while respecting local law. We argue any erroneous practices to generalise the notion of national safety and abuse of state power to discriminate against Chinese companies. China expects the Australian side to supply a fair, fair and non-discriminatory environment for the average functioning of Chinese companies and to strengthen its activities fostering common trust and cooperation between the 2 parties.

2 In fact, something seems to be playing words, this competition and conflict in the US-China relations. Their interests are contrary to the nature of things. And what the United States has been doing in the last fewer years is hard to call combating competition (e.g. import sanctions, penal inches, restrictions on technology exports, ban on Chinese land companies in the US, ban on technology exports to HuaWei and another local companies, displacing Chinese companies from stock exchanges, or late limit US companies' investment in technology in China). This is no longer a competition, but a increasing conflict to curb China's development. So it seems that the American side calls conflict – competition. It's a confusion with confusion of concepts.
3 ‘Never”, that is, after 1979, due to the fact that in 1979 the PRC tried to attack Vietnam, which ended in military and image failure. The Chinese Army was then defeated by Vietnamese forces consisting mainly of militia and civilian defence troops. Most of Vietnam's regular troops were then active in the fight against the Red Khmers in Cambodia.
History sheet
The world's first predicted earthquake occurred on 4 February 1975 in HaiCheng (chin. 海城) in the state of LiaoNing (chin. 辽宁).1 This earthquake had a force of 7.3 degrees on the Richter scale. At that time, a comparatively tiny number of human deaths were reported, as the authorities had previously ordered forced evacuation of residents of the region.
The decision to evacuate was the consequence of investigation into seismic activity in HaiCheng in erstwhile months and the analysis of a number of first shocks on the eve of the earthquake itself, resulting in about 300 deaths. Given the magnitude of the harm after the Haicheng earthquake, thousands of residents of the city were assumed to have died.
Seismologists have not enjoyed their success for besides long. On July 7, 1976, an unexpected earthquake occurred in TangShan (chin. 唐山) in HeBei state (chin. 河北)2. It had a force of 7.8 degrees on the Richter scale, and it consumed over 240,000 lives. Over 830,000 people were injured.
Secondary tremors were felt for nearly 20 days. The full multimillion-dollar TangShan was destroyed. This event led to many arguing that earthquakes could be predicted. At that time, the belief in the anticipation of predicting earthquakes became an component of ideological orthodoxy, which distinguished “the actual supporters of the organization from right-wing rejects”.
Returning to the HaiCheng earthquake: An global squad of scientists conducted a survey of the files, documents, and interviewed witnesses of events in 2006. The team's work shows that the decision to evacuate the city's residents in connection with the impending earthquake was not the consequence of a short-term seismic forecast (although individual scientists mentioned it), but an accident of general confusion, empirical analysis mixed with intuitive judgement and luck lut. Prior to the HaiChang earthquake, there were preliminary shocks that outweighed the scales and prompted decision-makers to take preventive action, including evacuation of residents.
As a consequence of the work of a squad of scientists, the success of the 1975 seismologists lost any of its weight, but it does not substance erstwhile it comes to the number of lives saved.
