China claims to have driven off US ship in South China Sea

The Chinese army announced Tuesday that it had driven off a US rocket cruiser that had “illegally intruded” into waters close the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea. Beijing considers most of this sea as its own territory and is arguing over it with another regional capitals.
