‘Germany? Norway? Spain? England? Ireland? We want a decent occupation in Poland!” specified a slogan was shown on the main banner of this year's May 1 demonstration. Dates that were permanently recorded in the calendar of nationalistic events. In the capital of the country, at the monument of the large Pole Roman Dmowski, about 600 people gathered.
The march moved towards Castle Square with a slight delay, which was associated with many problems posed by the police in relation to participants going to the Square at the Rozdroż. Among the arrivals were mostly groups of autonomous nationalists from all over the country. Including, of course, our delegation, which has been circulating in Warsaw since morning. In addition to the alleged "autonomy" groups, representatives of the National Revival of Poland, the All-Polish Youth, Nikolat, the trade union "Solidarity 80" and visitors from Slovakia could be noted. As with most nationalist initiatives, fans of the local Legion and respective another Polish teams were visible.
The sealed block formed from banners held on the sides, was adorned with many flags on the stick, mostly antisystem black flags, white-red and organizational. From the chanted slogans, the most common were “Working in Poland, for Poles!” or “Get out of the European Union!” which is the second increase due to the 10th anniversary of Poland's accession to the EU.
The demonstration did not face any attempts at interference, but on the contrary. Among the passersby were friendly looks or applause in our direction. Of course, there were respective who did not like the thought of the march, but they were a large number and created an impression of indifferent locusts. It should besides be noted that ‘Nationalist 1 May’ was the most many event of the day, of which there were many. Clearly, the time of the caviar left and their frustrated children is passing faster. In conclusion, thanks are due to the organizers and local nationalists who have welcomed us well, in the hours waiting for the march as well as after it.
