The Confederate candidate for president Sławomir Mentzen stated that he would not be in Koński on Friday for announced candidates' debates. "I am going seriously" - he stressed. He reminded me that on Friday he had scheduled meetings with voters. He added that on Monday he would be at the debate on tv Republic.
"I have a gathering present at the voters at the Lower Injections, Lesko, Brzozów and Krosno. I will not cancel them and disappoint the people waiting for me there to go to the Horses and effort to enter a debate I am not invited to. I will not be in this circus" - wrote Mentzen on Friday afternoon on platform X.
As many have admitted, he is encouraged to change plans and go to Horses on Friday. "I won't do it. I am in the Lower Injections, very far from the Horses" - said the Confederate candidate.
"But, of course, I am not amazed that candidates are going to go there, who do not take seriously, but make fun of these choices, like Stanowski, Biejat or Holovnia. I am going seriously" - stressed Mentzen.
At the same time, he reported he was going on Monday to debate for tv Republic. "For a average debate due to the fact that I want to talk about Poland. But I want to talk under average conditions, within a set deadline, without asking at the last minute to participate in a debate that you are not invited to" - wrote the candidate of the Confederation.
On Wednesday, the candidate for president Rafał Trzaskowski proposed a debate, supported by the Law and Justice, to candidate Karol Nawrock, which would be held on Friday, 11 April, in Koński (Świętokrzyskie) at 8 p.m. Nawrocki replied that he was ready for debate; however, he made the condition - that all tv should participate in it. There is presently a dispute between the staff of both candidates regarding the organisation of the debate. At the same time, tv Republic besides announced the organisation of the presidential debate at 6.50 p.m. on the marketplace in Horses.
According to Mentzen, "both Nawrocki and Trzaskowski do not want any average debate". "One will stand alone in the hall, the another in the marketplace Square in Horses. This shows how this strategy defends itself, how much they all want nothing to change" - indicated Mentzen.
