Iran's highest spiritual-political leader Mojtaba Chamenei present announced that thanks to the "special unity" he felt had emerged among the Iranians, "the enemy was defeated". This opinion was included in the message for the Persian fresh Year – Nouruz.
The speech, which was published on the Mojtaba Chamenei Channel in the Telegram communicator, highlighted that Israel and the US, which began the war against Iran on 28 February, had been “an illusion” that if they killed the erstwhile ultimate leader of the country of Ali Chamenei and another Iranian leaders, Iranians will succumb to “fear and despair”. He accused Israeli and American authorities of wanting to "dominate and then divide Iran".
Mojtaba Chamenei expressed the belief that in the fresh year Iran's unity would "be more lasting and stronger" and the enemies of the country would "weak and calm".
He besides assured that behind the fresh attacks on Turkey and Oman "in no way" was the Iranian army or any of its allies. He attributed it to “the deceptive actions of the Zionist enemy”—as the authorities in Tehran call Israel.
Mojtaba Chamenei, who succeeded his father Ali as the ultimate leader of Iran, killed on 28 February in an Israeli-American attack, declared that the government's goal in Tehran was to have the best relations with all the countries of the region.
