CERBERUS K9 – for the first time in Poland

On 29–30 November 2025, the CERBERUS K9 – elite global exercises of K9 teams, organized for the first time in Poland, will be held at the Marine LPG Terminal in Gdynia (Węglowa 1A). The event was designed to improve cooperation between uniform formations and the civilian sector in conditions akin to the actual activities in critical infrastructure.

The exercises confirmed the participation of teams from Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovenia, Hungary and Slovakia, as well as representatives of the Polish Army, Railway Protection Service, State Protection Service, Slovak Police and civilian teams. The training will include activities in the area of critical infrastructure - the Marine LPG Terminal, on board the Stena Line ferry and in the spaces of the GRIF Military Technology Museum, where dog guides will carry out tasks in an industrial environment, transport, in hangars with dense military technology and in elements of defensive fortification.

The central point of the programme will be the simulations of the terrorist attack, prepared to check procedures and to increase the effectiveness of inter-services in crisis situations. Exercises are intended to support the construction of integrated civilian defence and national safety responses.

RECLAMA

The permanent component of the event will besides be the HARDEST HIT competition, during which the strength, dynamics and precision of the control of the service dog in intervention will be assessed.

CERBERUS K9 is an crucial platform for exchanging experience between public and civilian formations, supporting interoperability, operational readiness and global cooperation in the field of public safety and civilian protection. The event is an crucial contribution to the improvement of national and European safety systems.
