President Karol Nawrocki appointed Sławomir Cenckiewicz as head of the National safety Bureau on Thursday. In July 2024, the Military Counterintelligence Service took distant the safety clearance required for access to classified information. According to erstwhile Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar, Cenckiewicz will be "very hard to execute this function".
