Sławomir Cenckiewicz, erstwhile head of the Military Historical Bureau, heard allegations of declassified part of the Polish defence plan "Warta". On Thursday, his supporters gathered before the prosecutor's office in Warsaw, and the historian himself did not hold back the pride of the charges against him.
"I am arrogant of the charges" – Cenckiewicz does not regret revealing Tusk's plans
The territory Attorney's Office in Warsaw has charged Cenckiewicz with disclosing information on a documentary series ‘Reset’, aired in 2023 by TVP.

Prosecutor's Office vs. Cenckiewicz – what is the matter?
Procedure declassified part of the ‘Wart’ defence plan, which was to be assumed in the event of Russia's attack ‘defence on the Vistula line’. According to the D.A.'s office, the disclosure of this information violated state secrecy laws.
Earlier, the charges in this case were heard:
- Mariusz Błaszczak (former head of MON),
- Agnes Glapiak (former manager of the MON Operations Centre, presently Deputy Head of the KRRiT),
- Peter Z. (former manager of the MON Defence strategy and Planning Department).
They all deny the allegations that they are ‘politically motivated’.
Cenckiewicz: “It’s a prosecution for exposing an agentry”
Historian had previously reported on social media that allegations concern "aiding abuse of rights" and ‘disclosure of classified information’.
– "The substance concerns the +line of Vistula+, or, in fact, a fewer sentences which from this compromising Poland and its authorities of the concept were declassified by Minister Błaszczak, having full right to do so" – he wrote.
He besides denied being active in the ‘Warta’ plan decision. According to him, the full thing is ‘Part of the wider hunt’ related to his actions for ‘demasking the agentry and winding up the WSI’.
