Wrocław, June 6, 2024. The celebration of the 10th Wroclaw Communications Brigade was attended by, among others, the commander of the Warsaw Garrison Gen. Brig. Tomasz Dominikowski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Paweł Gancarz, as well as representatives of uniform services, education and institutions cooperating regular with the Wroclaw Brigade. Following authoritative speeches, the handing of badges and distinctions, there was a defilade and tactical demonstrations and parachute jumps, and the day of open barracks attracted full families, offering many attractions and military equipment shows.
The Polish mass, which was conducted by Fr. Colonel Maximilian Jezierski, began their festival in Wroclaw.
The ceremony was attended by the commander of the Warsaw Garrison, Brig-Gen Tomasz Dominikowski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Paweł Gancarz, godmother of the brigade banner - Senator Barbara Zdrojewska and godfather of the flag - Dr. Andrzej Łoś. Among the invited guests there were besides erstwhile commanders, as well as representatives of uniformed services, education and institutions cooperating regular with our Brigade.
After welcoming the guests, Brigadier General Dariusz Dejneka made wishes to all soldiers and workers for the celebration of the unit and thanked them for the regular effort they put into carrying out their tasks − Accept the best wellness wishes, perseverance in service, soldier's happiness and all success in individual life. Thank you for your regular service and work, without you there would be no Brigade. You are the ones who are seen by others. It is you who are building our 10th Brigade and creating its tremendous possible – the commander spoke.
Very warm words to the Wrocław communications and their families were directed by Brig-Gen. Tomasz Dominikowski – I am here to thank you for the regular effort and effort put into carrying out your duties. To thank your families, too, due to the fact that I am full aware that his full household is serving with the soldier," said the commander of the Warsaw Garrison.
During the ceremony, Brigadier-General Dariusz Dejneka presented Brigadier General Tomasz Dominikowski with the commemorative badge of the 10th Wrocław Communication Brigade, which is simply a evidence to belonging to a soldier's household and an external expression of the bond between all soldiers of the 10th Brigade. The best soldiers and employees received congratulations and distinctions from the Commander of the Warsaw Garrison, Brig. Gen. Tomasz Dominikowski.
The parade in front of the honorary tribunal ended the authoritative part of the celebration of the 10th Wroclaw Communications Brigade.
After part of the authoritative parachute jumps and dynamic demonstration of the attack on the VIP-protected convoy, the day of the open brigade barracks began. During the demonstrations, participants had the chance to learn how to give first aid and to learn how to behave erstwhile announcing alarms. Traditionally, there were besides demonstrations of military equipment and weapons, during which principles of safe usage of weapons were taught.
The 10th Wroclaw Communication Brigade was attended by full families, and the classes were attended by both parents and their children. Each visitor to our barracks could see the process of training a professional soldier.
The 10th Wrocław Communications Brigade is simply a military unit subordinate to the commander of the Warsaw Garrison, 1 of the largest of its kind in Poland. It has the most modern communication equipment in the Armed Forces of Poland. It is intended to carry out tasks in times of peace, crisis and war. The brigade is simply a unit active in the activities of Polish Military Quotators (PKW) participating in stabilisation and peacekeeping missions outside our country. Brigade soldiers actively participate in the cultural and social life of the city of Wrocław and the garrisons of Lower Silesia.
