"Celebrating crimes is not patriotism." Indians condemn Pentagon decision

The National legislature of American Indians has powerfully condemned the Pentagon's decision not to collect medals awarded to U.S. soldiers for the 1890 conflict of Wounded Knee, considered by many historians to be a massacre, Reuters reported. As congressional manager Larry Wright Jr. declared, "celebrating war crimes is not patriotism."
