Cejrowski: large performance by Nawrocki. Lisicki: A Chance for a fresh Constitution

On 1 June, Karol Nawrocki won the presidential election, defeating Rafał Trzaskowski in the second round. The president of the IPN and the candidate supported by the PiS obtained 50.89 percent of the vote (10 606 877), while the president of Warsaw, the candidate KO won 49.11 percent of the vote (10 237 286). The difference is over 369,000 votes. Marshal of the Sejm Simon Holovnia, despite the pressures of the ruling camp, appointed a gathering of the National Assembly on 6 August and the removal of the presidential oath from Nawrocki.
