Easier to fire an official

The local government of Hong Kong submitted a draft order simplifying the procedure for administrative officials achieving the following objectives (KPI). The nonsubjective of introducing fresh rules of conduct is to let for faster dismissal of an authoritative working below adopted standards. Currently, the procedure for dismissal of an authoritative of the local administration takes up to 2 years.

With the mechanisms proposed in the fresh procedure, the full process will be shortened to a fewer months, while giving the parties adequate chance to express their views and supply adequate explanations. The fresh rules are expected to come into force later this year.

US bonds increasingly little desirable

According to the latest U.S. Treasury Department data in June this year China reduced the portfolio of US government bonds held to USD 835.5 billion (approx. PLN 3.431 trillion). This is the 3rd period in a row to reduce the state of possession of American papers. At the same time, the lowest level in 14 years (since May 2009). Since April last year this level has remained below 1 trillion USD (about PLN 4,108 trillion). And it should be a clear signal to the American administration, which is conducting efforts to find those willing to fund American debt.

Superfast CATL battery

NingDe Times fresh Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (宁德时代新能源科技股份有限公司) commonly known as CATL, the world's largest car battery manufacturer, has presented a publically developed lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP4C) battery that allows super-fast charging.

This battery can be charged in 10 minutes, after which it can be reached about 400 kilometres. CATL has besides developed a battery with a higher capacity, allowing to cover up to 700 km on 1 charge.

Fast charging of these batteries can be carried out in any conditions in all temperature ranges, both very low and high.

The LFP4C battery is now the safest, most ecological plan of this type. It is characterized by advanced efficiency and capacity, low level of self-discharge and advanced service life. It can be charged between 3,500 and 5000 times, and according to CATL is expected to operate unchangeable for up to 10 years.

CATL announces that LFP4C batteries will enter mass production at the end of this year, and will be marketed in the first 4th of next year. respective Chinese producers are working on the investigation and improvement of LFP4C batteries.
