Casy's disaster - a general rehearsal before Smolensk?

Efforts are being made to set up a parliamentary committee of enquiry d/s of Russian influence, the IPN returns to matters long closed or decommissioned. But is there adequate time, political will of the ruling and the courage of the investigators to effort to solve cases from the time erstwhile the Russian agent freely ran around the country? 1 specified case that needs to be reemerged should be a sure, forgotten, plane crash.
Professor Cenckiewicz revealed a 2011 paper containing a Russian request to supply documentation regarding the crash of the CASA military aircraft which crashed during the landing at Mirosławec airport on 23 January 2008.
He would like to "question Tuski": From what jail should we pass papers to the Russians regarding the NATO military plane crash in which the military alliance died?
This disaster was forgotten due to the fact that it was shortly overshadowed by an even more spectacular "Smolensk event". There is an chance to callback the circumstances of a tragedy almost completely erased from public consciousness.
Twenty people died in the crash – high-ranking officers and commanders (3 generals!) - a flower of Polish aviation.
Working on a luxury ship at the time, I had access to regular satellite newsletters with a review of the leading planet press titles. A hit of the press on all continents was the news of the disaster in which most of the Polish aviation commanders died. It was reported in a somewhat ironic speech that officers were just returning from a conference on air safety...
This condition is simply a clear russian trace – in the Russian method it is not adequate to kill an opponent, it has yet to be humiliated. If Poland had a real counterintelligence (the 1 created by A. Macierewicz was rushed after 2007), it would be possible to analyse KTO's request to organise specified a conference.
The inept investigation of the catastrophe was very akin to the Smolensk investigation for 2 years later, although it was simpler due to the fact that all the evidence was in Poland. Although the circumstances of the event were very akin to the Smolensk tragedy, the media behaved much differently at the time.
The inquisitive accounts of the “Superwizjer” or even the Wyborcza paper revealed a number of shocking details (e.g. that the EGPWS threat informing strategy was disabled and 14” before the “black box” was destroyed). "Superwizjer" reporters suggested that the members of the military committee investigating the accident were selected so as not to uncover many findings uncomfortable to the MON decision-makers.
The media investigation of the time was a clue to the Russians that there was inactive a request to "work" on media. Indeed, 2 years later, 'weakness has been resolved' and the media transmission has already been uniform – in Smolensk, all media spoke "stubable" Anodine repeated Russian misinformation, and the only exception was Gazeta Polska (supported later by the media besides by Fr Rydzyk).
Casy's disaster was reported by TVN: "The best of the best died. The pilot bends the plane besides much - the velocity increases, but the lift is falling. The plane drops rapidly and hits the ground at a velocity of 270 km/h. The Minister of Defence appoints a committee, her study leaves no dry thread on almost any institution straight and indirectly liable for the organisation and conduct of the flight, for training and selection of the crew. The study points out that the crew misread the altimeter's indications, that it was giving data in another units than the tower, that it was more than on the instruments looking for airports, that it was poorly selected and untrained, that in the end the flight controller had no experience in bringing specified machines in and giving the crew misinformation".
Stenograms of the flight controller's conversations with the pilot raised suspicions as to the authenticity of the real contact (e.g. turning per "man"), and the commands expressed misled the pilots. Therefore, an expert - Prof. Stefan Grocholewski was asked to analyse recordings. His work was hard due to the fact that only copies were made available to him, alternatively of originals, but the prof. determined that individual in talks with the tower could impersonate pilots, and the evidence was most likely rigged (the prof. was chronically sick and died rather quickly).

General Andrzej Błasik, who later died at Smolensk, took command of Polish aviation shortly before Casy's crash, could not be accused of tragedy. quite a few details about this event were told by the widow of the general - Ewa Błasik - at a gathering organized by Poznań Klub Gazeta Polska. We have learned that General Błasik has never accepted the findings of the committee investigating the accident set up by Defence Minister B. Klich. The general shocked the composition of this commission containing many incompetent people. So he went to Spain specifically, to the aircraft manufacturer, and made reservations about Klich's curiosity conclusions. The plane's defect was improbable due to the fact that the device was completely fresh – inactive on warranty. "Donos" of the general on the commission to the Spanish maker did not produce the result, due to the fact that from their point of view, the "pilot error" was the most convenient.

As crucial as the method findings of experts, there should be criminal investigations analysing events and circumstances before and after the disaster. An accelerated prosecutorial investigation into the Mirosławec disaster was shortly limited because, as the prosecutor's typical explained, "because of the thinness of experts who could analyse specified accidents, all resources are occupied by the Smolensk investigation".
The families of the victims, seeing the way they conducted the investigation, had no assurance in the case services. That's why Andrzej Smyczyński, brother of 1 of CASY pilots, tried to learn more about the real causes of the disaster. In the program “Now We!” he told us about the threats he faced. "A car pulled up and 2 men got out of it. The driver came up at the distance of his cheeks and said, "Leave the dung business, Mirosłowiec case, you're besides thin for that." We know what you do, where you go, who and what you talk about. It's a request from high-ranking gentlemen in uniform. If not, your parent will mourn her second son." Smyczyński's household besides met with intimidation - there was a hack into the computers of 1 of the household members. The computer leaves a letter with lifeless threats - 'stop sniffing around due to the fact that you will mourn again'.

Starting with the "neutralization" of UN Secretary-General Dag Hammarskjold over Zambia in 1961, The Russians have immense experience in the organization of "catastrophe" air, which are a regular means of eliminating uncomfortable people. The similarity of the catastrophes in Mirosławec and Smolensk is apparent. A good comparison of both events was presented by blogger Jacol:
The “accident” of Casy in Mirosławec 2008 and Tupolev in Smolensk in 2010, are duplicate disasters, made “the same hand” and according to the same scenario.
1. Both planes crash from a low ceiling, from the tallness of trees, and ... evaporate, completely destroyed, something virtually impossible erstwhile falling from specified a low ceiling.
Everyone knows what Tupolev's remains look like: 2 wings, no hull. The case of Casa is identical, there are only wings and debris with the volume of the car.
2. Same crash scenario. Both Casa and Tupolev pilots had miscoordinated positions comparative to the landing pad. Both aircraft crashed into the axle moved to the runway axis [ Casa 40m , Tupolav 60m ], respective 100 meters from the airport [ Casa 800m, Tupolav 300m ] .The results of the Casy investigation show that just before the crash, the aircraft made a maneuver to correct the flight path. This is precisely what happened in Smolensk.
3. The media veil of misinformation is besides converging. The impenetrable guilt of pilots, promoted from the very beginning, long before the investigation ended. There is even the same rumor about the alleged presence in the cockpit of people from outside the crew.
There are besides reports of a disagreement between the pilot and tower handling about units of measurement.
TVN 24 reported that Casy pilots alternatively of utilizing on-board equipment tried to land “on the eye”. precisely the same brazen accusation was made by Russian investigators in the Tupol case.
4. Casa's accidents in Mirosławec and Tupolev in Smolensk are duplicate disasters, made with the same hand and according to the same scenario. This gives fresh opportunities. Examining an event with Mirosławiec you can learn the details of the Smolensk bombing and vice versa."

If there were political will to conduct a fair investigation and then the "Materewicz Commission" would be called, possibly there would not have been a tragedy in Smolensk.
General Błasik was the first Polish commander to have nothing in common with the Warsaw Pact and never trained in the USSR. He introduced F-16 fighters in Poland, and the airmen died in the crash were his students. Among the victims of the Mirosławec disaster, the highest rank was General Andrzejewski, who erstwhile miraculously avoided death erstwhile a "missing" rocket hit his plane (the general had already ejected). After the annihilation in Mirosławec of a new, trained in the US, aviation command staff and subsequent death of Gen. Błasik in Smolensk, command of Polish aviation returned to the hands of the "tested staff" of russian military universities, which well entered the reset of relations with "Russia as it is" performed by the PO/PSL team.
