Caritas encourages you to pass on Christmas food to those in need

If we have an excess of sausages, dishes or cakes at Christmas, it is worth giving them to the needy – reminds Caritas Poznań. In the capital of Wielkopolska, food can be supplied to 4 local diners.

Caritas calls not to waste Christmas food. “The door of the nuns who run the diners is all day knocked by the needy. Therefore, it is worth to pass on Christmas food erstwhile it is inactive good to eat, stored in a refrigerator – if essential – and well packed”, said Caritas.

Eating at Łąkowa and Niegolewskie Street will take the products and dishes on Monday and Tuesday; they can be imported from 10 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, between 8.00 p.m. and 5 p.m., food can be transported to the diner at Taczaka or Ściegienneego Street.

On Easter Sunday, Caritas together with the sisters of Elizabethans prepared breakfast for the lonely and needy in Poznań. They could besides take conventional Easter dishes packed to go home – 1.4 1000 food packages were prepared.
