Canada plans to upgrade the armored fleet

Today Canada has 34 Leopard 2A4 tanks, 20 Leopard 2A4M CAN tanks, and 20 Leopard 2A6M CAN vehicles, a full of 74 primary tanks. Canada's Land troops consider this number to be insufficient today, and the Leopard 2 tanks themselves in the Canadian service are considered increasingly ageing and needing modernization.
