Matthew Morawiecki can go to prison? That's what the head of the MFA says

On Friday, the ultimate Administrative Court rejected appeals against the judgement of the Warsaw Administrative Court, which in September 2020 concluded that the decision of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki ordering the Polish Post to prepare correspondence elections was a gross violation of the law. As a result, the conviction of the WSA became final.

We have 2 levels of work here: constitutional, that is, before the Court of State, and criminal with Article 231 – said the deputy head of the Ministry of abroad Affairs and added that the ruling of the court opens the field for prosecution and parliament.

When asked if the Left would file a motion to waive immunity for the erstwhile Prime Minister, Szejna replied yes. I think it will happen in days – he said.
