Fifty firefighters are inactive extinguishing the fire, which broke out on Tuesday in a company dealing with the spillage of method gases and their distribution in Bydgoszcz – said the spokesperson of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Fire Service St. Brig. Małgorzata Jarokka-Krzemkowska. The action has been going on for hours.
– There are no more flames, but 40 bottles inactive request to be cooled, they are very hot. There is inactive no decision to decision them. At the site of the action, a region with a radius of about 200 metres was designated, which no 1 can enter.
On Tuesday afternoon, while filling the acetylene bottles, there was ignition and explosion, followed by fire. The fire spread to about 40 bottles, standing next to it in metallic baskets. The plant crew has been evacuated. Nobody got hurt.
The site is safe due to the fact that it is an uninhabited area, an industrial district.
