More energy from the sun

As foreseen by the Association of Photovoltaic manufacture of China (chin. 中国光伏行业协会), in 2024 the power produced in China from solar panels will increase by 31% a year (r/r). This will be little than in the evidence year 2023, erstwhile an increase of 55% y/y was recorded, as the manufacture faces an overcapacity of this renewable energy and restrictions at home and abroad.

China has the world's largest renewable energy power, but its fast expansion has affected national transmission systems, there is simply a deficiency of retention capacity, forcing any power plants to reduce production.

The solar panel manufacture and its components, according to China's Photovoltaic manufacture Association forecasts, will produce equipment this year that will make 220 gigawatts (GW) of fresh power, which is about the same as last year.

The 2 largest markets for Chinese exports of panels and components for their production are Europe and Asian countries.
