Buzdigan commander of the Iron Division returns to the game

On May 29, during the celebration of Veteran Day, General Dyw. Arkadiusz Szkutnik donated his Buzdigan, the award “Polish Armed Forces”, to the auction of the Foundation “Help for Veteran”. The bid was won by young chor. Marek Wójcik, a soldier of the 18th Bomber Regiment, a divisional unit commanded by Gen. Szkutnik. Joanna Janik, president of the “Help for a Veteran” Foundation, was curious in observing the bidding process. Aldona Raszewska served in the Polish Army for over 15 years. 5 times she participated in missions outside the country: X, XII and XV PKW changes Afghanistan, XIII PKW change Iraq and X PKW change Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a nurse, she saved the lives of soldiers, supported local children, organized gatherings and medical “white Sundays”. She has always helped others, and present she is struggling with a severe illness – a cancer of the kidney. Treatment and costly therapies, as well as broken spine and lower limbs' weakness, made it require constant care and intensive rehabilitation. “We have covered the costs of adapting the bathroom for people with disabilities, which amounted to PLN 63 1000 and we finance further rehabilitation of the veteran”, says Joanna Janik.

Needs are huge, which is why I'm sick. Marek Wójcik gave the bid-off Buzzygan again for the auction to support the young man, Aldona Raszewski. “This motion shows how much we can accomplish erstwhile we unite forces,” adds Joanna Janik.
