Bundeswehr needs more money for upgrades

A €100 billion peculiar fund is not adequate to modernise the Bundeswehr, according to the Bundestag's plenipotentiary for the armed forces, Eva Hoegl. “We do not collect our own data, but I hear from experts and from soldiers that 300 billion euros would be needed to make crucial changes to the Bundeswehr,” she said.
