US defence budget for 2026: legislature with further assistance to Ukraine and military presence in Europe

On December 18, president Donald Trump signed a bill authorizing defence spending in fiscal year 2026 (National defence Authority Act, NDAA). Previously, the NDAA was overly accepted in legislature (312:112 in the home of Representatives and 77:20 in the Senate). specified a bill is adopted annually and includes a detailed budget of the Department of War (Defence). The expenditure recorded in this year's budget is $901 billion (eight billion more than the White home claimed).
