The construction of Russia's base in Sudan will stop. A rerun from Syria?

To halt work on the Russian base in Port Sudan may theoretically be a large surprise. The Russians have for respective months [reserved](https://defence24.pl/strong-armoured/end-Russian-base-in-sudan-ambassada-demented) that there can be no interruption of work due to the importance of the full investment. For many years, Russia has been doing everything possible to make specified a base in Sudan. There are even suppositions that the Kremlin [strongly favoured the coup](https://defence24.pl/power-arms/Russia-send-show-armour-to-Africa), which ended on 11 April 2019 with the dismissal of Sudanese dictator Omar al-Bashir, who was besides prosecuted by the global Criminal Court.
