As expected, Rafał Brzoska fulfilled his mission in the election run and ends his cooperation with the government at the end of May. By saying goodbye, he criticised EU legislation, but he deserves the top criticism himself.

About how the mission of the founder and the president of InPost would end, it was mostly known as early as the beginning. Only the most naive could presume that in the full run with the employment of “Polish Elon Musk” for the mission of deregulation there was more to it than just making a good impression on voters.
Liberal Subcontractor
Donald Tusk has already had the economical opinion of a liberal since the 1980s, although he has always tended towards the option of social liberalism, or a doctrine to mitigate the effects of "heartless" marketplace mechanisms through extended social security. In fresh years, however, the “Polish Liberal” leader has yet capitulated against the social offensive of Law and Justice, even yet outbiding Jarosław Kaczyński's organization with benefits to citizens (and the scale of public debt).
In the end, Tusk himself was incapable to act as an authentic economical liberal, and for the purposes of the election run he hired a subcontractor – Rafal Przoska. The function in this show was written in pain of predictable scenario: a capable billionaire like Elon Musk was to make rationalization and improvements in the Polish legal system, and Tusk employed him to rise applause for ingenuity and willingness to go with the spirit of time.
The political theatre attended by Rafał Brzoski was clearly motivated solely by the desire to gain the favour of the centre-right electorate. The ruling camp applied the same maneuver of abrupt recourse to sovereign and free marketplace rhetoric before the 2023 parliamentary elections, in order to then neglect to realize even a modest part of its promises. This time, InPost's chief was tasked with creating the impression that the government wanted to be yet friendly with native entrepreneurs and in express mode, it introduced long-awaited changes.
Fake hero
It may be amazing that Rafał Brzoska did not wait to announce his decision until the second circular of the presidential election, erstwhile the rulings will return to their usual mode of administering the state, free of false promises. From the beginning, it was known that the deregulation mission was to last 100 days, but it could be officially announced only later. Even before Christmas, InPost's chief reported that at the end of May, his mission in the Deregulation squad was over, and solutions developed with him would yet take shape
400 proposals. In concluding his adventure as a consultant to the government of Donald Tusk, Brzoska besides took a reflection on Polish law, stating that EU directives limiting our competitiveness have an expanding influence on them.
The words of the president of InPost about the hard destiny of Polish companies in the context of the struggles with global corporations or the dictate of the conditions of the game by Brussels were immediately discussed by major news services. They allowed to show the Brzoski mission as a heroic fight that had no right to go despite the sincere desire of the main interested. In addition, implementation of all InPost's proposals was left to the government itself for an unspecified future. This is simply a very convenient solution for both sides. Rafał Brzoska will always be able to wash his hands, stating that he did everything he could and created ready-made proposals. The government, on the another hand, will have an excuse to not make changes, blocking the cessation of its peculiar consultant.
However, no substance how hard Peaches would effort to introduce himself as a hero wishing to clean the unchangeable of Augiah regulations and directives, the evaluation of his activities can only be unequivocally negative. The founder of InPostu took part in a large political hucpa, which may have improved his image in part of the media, but which from the very beginning only gave illusory chances of improving the destiny of Polish entrepreneurs and taxpayers.
A cruel mockery
Taking part in the election run of the ruling camp, Rafał Brzoska mocked the thought of deregulation. Helping the government, regardless of political colors, is of course nothing bad, but the president of InPost could simply make a condition that he would gladly aid remove unnecessary obstacles only after the end of the second circular of presidential elections. It would be a reliable test of how seriously entrusted the mission is to the camp of smiling Poland.
Rafał Brzoska has been collecting very affirmative reviews for years as 1 of the fewer Polish entrepreneurs, who not only went a long way from a boot to a millionaire, but besides managed to make a successful expansion in abroad markets. Recently, InPost successfully entered the British market, taking even Yodel parcel supplier there. Theoretically, it should only be applauded as the author of so much needed success of Polish business on the global stage.
In fact, however, Rafał Brzoska, through his run deregulation position, earned a strong anti-hero status. He demonstrated with his attitude that he wanted good contact with authority and his own image. His preemptive failure, due to the fact that the subordinate election campaign, the mission, had no right to succeed, and her main nipple would be that the words "deregulation" would yet cease to mean anything in the mouth of politicians.
Peaches and Tuski had fun at the expense of Poles, playing an embarrassing performance, at the end of which the head of InPostu moved his arms, stating that small could be done. And indeed, there is small that can be done in Poland if the business leaders are people like Brzoski. How EU regulations destruct the Polish economy could be told long and comprehensively, but if among the most influential Polish entrepreneurs there are people capable of specified a serious issue as deregulation or improvement of the taxation system, 1 can only be a pessimist.
The Polish DOGE turned out to be a dummies and campaign. He gained Peaches, gained Tusk, and lost Polish entrepreneurs, who are increasingly bent under the burden of EU regulations or Green Deal. However, the president of InPost, who is conquering European markets, does not seem to care, due to the fact that he has given more valuable support than any another payment to the ruling camp pushing Poland straight into the EU state.
