Operation Gulf has continued continuously since September 2022 and there is no fixed completion date. According to WP General Staff, "The action was initiated in consequence to rising hybrid threats and underwater sabotage activities". The Centre for Maritime Operations - Marine Component Command in Gdynia is liable for coordinating operations.
