Do you have an account with the British bank? Are you a conservative, a patriot, or a nationalist? There's a chance your financial institution will close your account for no reason, and the rival banks will refuse to open the account. This is the destiny of respective Britons whose views disagree with the political mainstream.

The full substance was publicised by the well-known Eurosceptic Nigel Farage, thanks to which a 2016 referendum took place, resulting in the United Kingdom leaving the European Union. The politician stated that the private bank of Coutts closed his private and corporate accounts after more than 40 years of cooperation.

The bank's representatives explain that the reason for the closure is due to the insufficient amount of money in Farage's accounts, which does not have the required £1 million account in its account, nor 3 million in its investments, and the policy itself was to receive a proposal to set up an account in Natwest bank, which is straight subject to the Coutts.

A Eurosceptic politician besides stated that he tried to transfer his funds to 9 another banks, but they refused. At the same time, he tries to dement the claim that he will immediately receive an offer to make a fresh account, claiming that it had already appeared after the full scandal had been publicised, and that the Coutts bank “had not given him any minimum limit of resources for the last 10 years”, he stated on his Twitter.

At no point in the last 10 years did Coutts give me a min threshold.

More importantly, the offer of a Natwest individual act only came after I went public last Thursday.

No business solution was offered, and they even denied I was a PEP, which is why 9 another banks have said no. https://t.co/b9egKPEWMZpic.twitter.com/DO9yMFKzGT

This could be the end of the matter, if not for the fact that it is not an isolated case. In 2020, British bank Barclays closed accounts for 2 Christian organizations – Core Issues Trust and the global Federation for Therapeutic Counselling Choice, which support people struggling with problems in their sexuality.

The reason for specified a movement was... force from LGBT activists who forced closures due to the views of both foundations and suspicion of their usage of conversion therapy, which is not banned in the UK. After an outrage on the part of consumers, the account was reinstated and Barclays paid out over £20,000 to organizations, but the accounts themselves were not restored.

Another British bank victim is Anglican pastor Richard Fothergill. The clergy account at the Yorkshire Building Society was closed after it did not agree with the bank's promotion of transgenderity.

In the context of the cases cited above, the situation with Nigel Farage's account seems much more unclear. large capital blackmailing people for displeasing views side by side with rainbow activists? This is not impossible, especially in the case of Britain, which is increasingly little friendly to all who do not believe in liberal-left dogmas (unless we are talking about Muslims. Then it is the promotion of diversity).

Not so long ago, the local left claimed that over 2 100 years of patriotic anthem – regulation Britannia is... racist, and respective teenagers were arrested for “homophobic comments” during the match.

If specified absurd situations are reality, why would it be impossible for large corporations to blackmail them?
