Keir Starmer met with China's leader Xi Jinping on Thursday in Beijing. This is the first visit of the British Prime Minister to the mediate State in 8 years. Starmer called for improved relations and open dialogue. China's leader called for the creation of a "non-discriminatory environment" for Chinese companies and warned against returning to "the law of the jungle".
