British frigate of the fresh kind takes shape

The 139 metres long and 5700 tons long ship was carefully pulled out of the Rosyth construction hall utilizing self-propelled modular transporters (SPMT). Babcock's expert squad is preparing to launch a ship to the distant River in the coming weeks. The program of building 5 T31 ships, covered by the National Shipbuilding Programme, is making fast progress, where 3 units are already in production. The programme envisages completing all 5 T31 frigates within 10 years of the first contract being awarded. Based on an Arrowhead 140 task by Babcock, a kind 31 Inspiration-type ship will form the primary part of the Royal Navy fleet.
