Brussels to introduce "extraordinary measures" in Poland

Some areas in the provinces of Kuyavia-Pomerania, Łódź, Masovia, Warmia-Masuria and Greater Poland will be covered by "exceptional measures" due to the hazard of spreading the bird flu virus. The European Commission will decide on this next week, said EC spokeswoman Eva Hrnczirzova.
