When joining the European Union in 2004, Poland hoped to join the Western planet and to grow more quickly. Years later, it turned out that the price for these benefits was high. Apart from the financial losses resulting from EU legislation, Poland has besides disposed of its sovereignty. Decisions that erstwhile belonged exclusively to the Polish government and parliament depend on the EU institutions, and their impact on the lives of citizens is increasing. In the issue 108 of the “Polonia Christiana” magazine of 2026, it was published as the subject of my article entitled Bruxelle, where is our sovereignty?
