Brussels extends the Red Sea mission. Millions of euros to defend trade shipping

The European Union does not release the course in the Red Sea. In the shadow of an expanding tension between Iran and the United States, associate States have decided to extend the EUNAVFOR mission Aspides by the end of February 2027, spending another million euros to defend trade routes. It is simply a signal that Brussels intends to actively defend its interests at 1 of the most inflamed points of global shipping.
