Delivery of the first 2 of a full of 61 upgraded launchers took place in early January. Prior to that, they successfully passed fire tests in the US. In the UK, meanwhile, work is underway to build the 3 simulators needed for advanced training in their operation. They are being built at the Royal Artillery School. By 2029, the UK wants to have a full of 76 M270A2 multi-mission rocket launchers in the army's inventory.
