A breakthrough on artificial intelligence. European Parliament for the first AI regulations

In the vote on the regulation [**about the AI Act (Act on Artificial Intelligence)](https://cyberdefence24.pl/page-tagow/act-o-artificial-intelligence), 523 Europarliamentarians supported, 46 opposed, and 49 abstained. Thus, the findings of the alleged trilogues were confirmed, taking the world's first comprehensive approach to AI**. The regulation was put to the final vote during the plenary session on Wednesday and formally approved by the European Parliament.
