Braun "disposed the doctor's freedom." What could the police have done?

Could the police have acted more decisively during the intervention at the infirmary where Grzegorz Braun was holding a gynaecologist? The opinions on this issue are divided. In the opinion of Senator Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, the police should not let a doctor to be imprisoned, and the doctor caught in the act of Braun did not defend immunity at this point.
