Pirelli's manager and erstwhile Italian diplomat Alberto Bradanini believes that Europe has become the victim of the United States' elite and military-industrial complex. It besides argues that Italy and most of the associate States of the European Union have been deprived of any sovereignty.

– How did the policy of sanctions against Moscow affect the Italian and European economies?

They realize that their alliance countries, France, Germany, are striving to make their own economies, and China is an irreplaceable partner in global trade, as acknowledged repeatedly by American Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, who visited Beijing a fewer weeks ago.
Taiwan must stay calm
– Can it be considered that the United States and NATO have provoked to any degree the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, and can now go further and start a war against China for Taiwan?
– I would like to make a certain assumption, regardless of the dark image that arises not only from the war in Europe and the possible conflict over Taiwan, but besides in the context of many another matters relating to interior social stability. Taiwan is simply a well-armed country and it will not become an easy prey for mainland China. But why would he declare his independency officially? In Taiwan live representatives of the same nation as in China, speaking the same language and related. The National organization no longer exercises power on the island. However, even if Taiwan's current leadership remains calm and the pressures of Americans, who, of course, would want for another replacement war, akin to that which is going on in Europe against Russia, will not erupt there.
Europe under American control
– Historically, Italy was an crucial diplomatic intermediary between Washington and Moscow. Could we return to that role? Are we doomed to fail?
– I believe that Italy is incapable to implement its abroad policy not due to the fact that it does not let its size and economical potential, but due to the fact that it would be essential to have sovereignty. Back in the 16th century, Niccolo Machiavelli wrote that the state could consider itself sovereign, provided that no army of another state was stationed on its territory and that it had its own currency. Italia is not that country today. In most cases, even in the case of the war against Libya, which was our most crucial ally in the Mediterranean, we entered conflict in the name of serving NATO interests. And, of course, decisions in NATO are not taken by European associate States, but by the United States, which, through NATO, command European troops.
