For the courage to express their own views and to effort to fight the communist strategy they were punished...
At the end of April 1949, members of the Contry decided to devastate the posters, which were overshadowed by the Chorz on the occasion of the upcoming 1 May. Young people filled the egg dunes with ink, and on the day of the “working holiday” they threw portraits of Bolesław Bierut, Karl Marx and another leaders and patrons of the communist movement. By the way, they broke respective flags (Soviet) that were decorated with Chorz. The founder of the organization, an 18-year-old Leon Machinia, in the school ellipse and backyard friends distinguished himself with loud opposition to communists and their ideology. By prison, created by Polish communists in Jaworzno for young political prisoners, over 10 000 young people (aged 15-21) sentenced for belonging to illegal organizations aimed at overthrowing the “democratic-people” system. The intent of this camp was not only repression and punishment, but besides constant indoctrination with communist ideology.
“After the war, erstwhile the communists bloodyly dealt not only with armed opposition but besides young patriots, freedom was a dream and youth tasted bitterly. Today, the 3rd generation of ruling communists is besides against the remainder of the Polish nation. After a long 42 years we came again to White Podlaski. We came to you to pay our thanks for all that you did for us in February and March 1944, then in November 1947, we stood again on our Home Earth. .
Then you greeted us from the heart of loving - kindness. You took us in, you took care of us, you showed us aid at a hard time. Here in White Podlaska, we stand at the threshold of a fresh life. We have been restored to our families and our homesick homeland. The welcome we met, the care you had given us erstwhile you returned, was deep in our hearts. It will always be in our memory to show the warmth and hospitality with which we met at all turn.
Hence, erstwhile conditions arose after this, our group decided to reciprocate with you in a way that we hope will be a lasting memorial. We founded the plaque, which will be consecrated and unveiled present – the memory of Władysław Swarcewicz from the unveiling of the plaque dated 11 June 1989 by the survivors of Siberian camps, Polish soldiers of the Home Army, with whom the 3rd generation of Ubecs and Ukrainian genocide killers fight.
In November and December 1944, 3 transports arrived in Borowicz on 26 November, and then on 4 and 12 December, more than 3,000 soldiers of the Home Army were brought to the camp, mainly privates from the areas of the AK- Lublin district, east areas of Warsaw and the AK Rzeszów district, as well as the alleged ramon's pier, Sandomierz and surrounding areas. Among them was Władysław Swarcewicz. His mother, Józefa Swarcewicz, the last P.O. Commandant of the Pole territory of ZWZ-AK, is arrested in October 1944 with members of the Staff (6 people). He's been in prison in Brest for 2 years. In the autumn, the War Court sentences “Mom” (this is her nickname) to 15 years old katorgi. She's being taken to Workuta. We want this plaque to become a material witness to our never unforgettable gratitude, for all that you have done for us erstwhile we have become free again. We returned from exile. We have returned from a cruel country, governed by inhuman rights, carried out by ruthless representatives of the Stalinist regime. There, in the camps of Borowicz and Swidłowska, where we were transported against our will, against all laws, were pushed to the bottom of human existence.
Our military and human dignity has been destroyed. We were subjected to various harassments only for this, we were soldiers and Poles.
The hard-to-imaginable conditions of surviving by a civilized man, bad, inadequate food, hard, debilitating work, harsh climate and the camp regime, is simply a very short image of the camp reality in which we have been surviving all day and what will stay in our memory forever. Many of our more than 5 1000 exiles have failed this terrible test. They remained there, on abroad dirt forever. Their bones will never remainder in their native land again.
To them, present we owe a minute of reflection and reflection. To them too, we direct our memories and the memory we owe them. Their destiny could have been our fate. God's grace and providence enabled us to last and return to our homeland. There, during the large trial of attitudes and characters, we pray to God and the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady, Queen of Poland, there we remember our Our homelands and our families, our overwhelming desire to come back, assisted us, gave us strength to survive. There, prayer and memory strengthened our destroyed organisms and in spite of all adversities warmed our hearts and minds.
The distant time, the return to average life, has obscured many of the tragic memories of the horrors that have been prepared for us. In ourselves there remained unwavering religion in justice and divine care, for which we prayed, not forgetting our household Polish identity.
Today, erstwhile we face you again, erstwhile we meet in our group, we remember the unforgettable image of the welcome we met from the inhabitants of Biała Podlaska and the surrounding areas. We are grateful for this, and we want to commemorate this modest and strict plaque and this return and our profoundly embodied gratitude that we have for you. This plaque, with its images, symbols and inscription - expresses our gratitude to Our Lady, the Queen of Poland, to whom we prayed to ask for the care and grace of the return, which was fulfilled.
In addition to the image of Our woman of Kozielska there is simply a symbol of the fighting Poland, a symbol of the underground Polish State - which was a challenge and informing to all hostile forces, which will challenge the independency of the Republic, with this symbol soldiers of the National Army fought, died and prevailed. Then, at the threshold of freedom, they came to pay another price, which became our share as well as many thousands exported to the Stalinist camps. Even then, after returning, many of us came to pay for the loyalty of the soldier's oath and for this AK-a belonging.
Today, after many years, we can stand before you on this board, which we believe will become a symbol of those noble values which Christian faith, attachment and fidelity to the ideals formed in the hearts of many generations of Poles, will always stay unchanged!
