Bożena Ratter: Silesian uprisings - all rapes, plunders, abuses were banned

The Silesian uprisings were the most popular uprisings in our history. He must be amazed at this situation - the comparatively advanced organisational level of these armed rabbles of the people, especially the fact, how comprehensively in these different conditions the problem of order and order was thought out, organising the strategy of the field judiciary - wrote justice Józef Musiol about 1921. It is known that as shortly as the uprising broke out, universal justice ceased to function. So, what were the laws in force at the time, who exercised justice in a comparatively large area? What was done to prevent rape and anarchy? These are questions that arise not only to the historian, or to the investigator of this interesting period, but to anyone who has even brushed up on the problem of uprisings in school reading. Why 100 years later, on February 22, 2022, in these different conditions, the problem of order and order was not considered, nothing was done to prevent rapes, thefts, anarchy and killings for the safety of Poles, beginning borders, and as president Duda emphasized: we allowed everyone in without exception, not checking who they were and from what country they were!
What was done at the time of the Silesian Uprising is explained by justice Józef Musiol: The first act to pass justice to the courts of the field was Manifesto to the advanced Silesian people on 5 May 1921, signed by the Plebiscite Commissioner Wojciech Korfanty, who as a dictator headed the uprising.
W Among another things, this manifesto was banned from any rape, plunder, abuse of people regardless of their language, faith, or origin. The Manifesto ordered that the behaviour of the insurgents be exemplary, specified as the soldier's honor commands. All assassinations, wellness and property of helpless people were strictly prohibited.
The removal of the undesirables of Korfanta has reserved its competence or its appointed persons.
The death punishment was threatened by crimes specified as armed robbery, or by burglary, extortion of individual benefit utilizing weapons, or rape, murder, killing, robbery, rape of a female person, arson, harm to work workshops, waterworks and power plants.
A prison conviction of up to 5 years or detention of up to 6 weeks, or a fine of 20 to 150*000 marks, was threatened with any offense directed against issued orders.
The Manifesto obliged the commanders of the uprising to give Korfantem the names of the arrested and the reason for their arrest within 24 hours. According to the Manifest, the justice strategy - both for insurgents and civilians was entrusted to the courts of the field. You can see lovingly ruling in 2022 and now, the problem of uprisings in school reading has not come close. And they could only apply Manifesto to the advanced Silesian people of 5 May 1921 Korfante.
So we have murders, arson, demolition of property and a ban on the transfer of data to the arrested persons and the reasons for their arrest to the public so that we can't prevent ourselves from being escalated.
