On Monday, January 6th, 905 cities in Poland and abroad will populate with colorful tributaries of the 3 Kings celebrating the celebration of the Lord's Revelation. The motto of this year's event is "Behold, kings!" – a phrase from the pastoral "To the shed, hey shepherds", which first appeared in 1931 in Lviv.
In Poland, the Orders of the 3 Kings will become part of a large celebration that will take place in the largest cities of the country, specified as Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków, Toruń and Łódź. In the capital, the procession will set out from the Copernicus monument, where there will be an authoritative welcome of monarchs from Asia, Africa and Europe, a drill of knights and warriors, as well as an effort of the procession shouts. 2 Asian dragons, plush camels, carolers and shepherds will besides prepare for the road but for court and knights.
This year, the organizers prepared peculiar attractions for participants. According to Piotr Giertych, president of the 3 Kings Orchestra Foundation, this year, we want to draw attention to the fact that the actual king on this earth can bow to the Most advanced King who lies in a stable. Therefore, the organizers prepared 600 1000 crowns and 170 1000 carol singers to be given to the participants of the processions.
Orszaki The 3 Kings is not only a Polish tradition, but besides a celebration celebrated in many countries specified as the United States, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Kazakhstan.
