[Bounties on Friday] Why doesn't Russia change

It has been over 300 days since the start of a full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine. president Volodymyr Zelenski went to the US on his first abroad journey since February 24. Has this period permanently changed the relation between Ukraine and the West and their attitude towards Russia? Why should we not number on a affirmative change in Russian politics and society?
