Booking.com on the EC carpet. Will be fined for unfair practices

No more unfair competition: the Booking.com platform must full comply with EU digital marketplace rules from Thursday, the European Commission announced on Thursday. This means, among another things, that the service can no longer oblige hotels and another service providers to offer lower prices only on the platform.
