Politicians of the fallen PiS organization were about to boycott liberation from their national media regime. At least this was the consequence of December’s promises, but they yet decided not to do so. That's the decision the organization leadership made.
The boycott of state media, which was planned by Law and Justice politicians, was discontinued comparatively quickly. Jarosław Kaczyński's organization leadership decided that members of the PiS could usage TVP and PR services again.
"Social problems are raging, including unsolved protests of farmers, foresters, taxation increases. Regrettably, government media under their control, taken by force, do not illegally inform the public about these abuses. Therefore, by decision of the Bureau of the PiS Political Committee, our politicians will participate in national government media programmes, due to the fact that only in this way are we able to deny the false reality there," said PiS spokesperson Rafał Bochenek.
Further, the politician stresses that "in no case does this mean accepting the way public media is taken over!"
"Our presence is due to the work towards Poles who deserve a actual and fair image of the current socio-economic situation in Poland" - explained the change of the PiS spokesperson fornt.

The decision of the Law and Justice to let organization members to participate in national media tv and radio programmes, specified as TVP and Polish Radio, means changing course against earlier boycott plans. Despite announcements by the boycott, which was to be a means of protesting December's changes in the media controlled by the Law and Justice, which service to spread their propaganda.
The reasons for specified a change may be different. This may be the consequence of thoughts on the deficiency of effectiveness of the boycott, its possible political implications, or the possible benefits of public media participation.
It should be noted that media policy, especially in the context of public media, plays an crucial function in shaping public opinion and promoting political messages. Therefore, the decision to participate in TVP and PR programmes can be seen as an effort to influence media transmission and communication with voters.
