The spiral of the trade war is inactive going on. Chinese airlines are no longer allowed to order Boeing aircraft. The Beijing government ordered this in consequence to the US decision to impose a 145% work on Chinese imports. According to Bloomberg, citing his sources, Beijing besides ordered Chinese airlines to halt buying equipment and parts for aircraft from American companies.
Last weekend Beijing announced a retaliatory work of 125 percent on US goods in consequence to Trump's tariff increase. The duties themselves would origin more than double the cost of machinery and spare parts produced in the USA. Boeing's aircraft would be financially unavailable to Chinese airlines. The 3 largest Chinese airlines – Air China, China east Airlines and China confederate Airlines – planned to launch 45, 53 and 81 Boeing aircraft respectively between 2025 and 2027.
China's request for commercial aircraft is huge
Forecasts show that in the next 2 decades China will be liable for 20 percent of the global request for aircraft. In 2018, China was liable for about a 4th of Boeing's full production.
