Justice Minister Adam Bodnar sent a letter on Thursday to the talker of the Sejm of Simon Holown, pointing to irregularities in the procedure for determining the validity of the presidential elections. The paper listed 12 points of legal uncertainty regarding the trial conducted by the Extraordinary ultimate Court Audit Chamber. Despite this, the talker of the Sejm maintains the date of swearing-in of president Elekt Karol Nawrocki on 6 August. The prosecution is presently investigating 17 violations of the electoral procedure.
The Minister of Justice and lawyer General Adam Bodnar informed the talker of the Sejm of the "irregularities and legal doubts" in the procedure for examining electoral protests. In his published letter, he listed 12 points concerning the process of designation of the validity of presidential elections by the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs of the ultimate Court.
The head of the Justice Ministry stressed that the talker of the Sejm, following the "certain rule of the presumption of the validity of the elections", announced a convocation of the National Assembly in order to curse the President-elect. Nevertheless, as the Minister said, "because of the importance of the presidential election, Mr Marshal should be aware of all irregularities related to the procedure for deciding the validity of the election."

The Media Service of the Chancellery of the Sejm reported that the marshal would mention to the text of the letter at the next session of the Sejm next week. The next session of the Sejm is scheduled on 22-25 July.
In consequence to the question of the possible impact of the letter on the postponement of the swearing-in date, the BOM recalled that the marshal convened a gathering of the National Assembly for August 6, 2025. This date remains unchanged.

Bodnar indicated in his letter that the Chamber of Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs in the light of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and the law of the European Union "cannot be considered a court".
