National independency Day is simply a time where we share common values – freedom, solidarity and concern for another man. In this spirit, soldiers of the 10th Świętokrzyska Territorial Defence Brigade, the Centre for Preparation for abroad Missions, as well as players of Industria Kielce and Korona Kielce S.A. organized a peculiar action of honorary blood donation “Blood for the Independent

45 people participated in the action, of which 34 were eligible for the grant. With them, nearly 20 gallons of blood flowed to save lives!

We thank all participants for their commitment and a beautiful motion of solidarity. During the event, soldiers of 10 WBOT discussed the terms of service and the recruitment process for the Polish Army.

Honorary donors besides had the chance to meet with Piotr Jędraszczyk, a player of the Industria Kielce – to talk, take a photograph together and receive vouchers for the upcoming Champions League match. peculiar gifts were prepared for all blood donors – Korona Kielce gave vouchers for the match with Rakowa Częstochowa, and Industria Kielce invited them to a game with Aalborg.

“The giving of blood is more than a motion – it is real aid to another man. present I had the honor of sharing my blood and experiencing how much this simple act of solidarity means. Thank you to everyone who responded to our invitation – together we showed that the service and assistance to others is the actual value of the Independent."

In 2025, the Świętokrzyskie tersiels had already organized respective akin actions, during which, both collectively and individually, they donated a full of over 326 litres of full blood and 20 litres of plasma during 715 donations. Since the formation of the brigade, soldiers of 10 WBOT have already donated over 1841 litres of blood and 143 litres of plasma.

We thank all those who gave blood to the Independent – you shared life!
