About 50,000 migrants crossed Morocco's border with Spanish Ceuta within 24 hours. Madrid directed troops and additional police forces to the site, and dozens of people lost their lives trying to scope the city. The crisis has shown how rapidly the deficiency of control at the external border can jeopardise the safety of Europe as a whole.

The border couldn't take the pressure.

Some 50,000 people, mainly from the territory of Morocco, have reached the Spanish Ceuta since Thursday. This is the scale of the Spanish Interior Ministry.
