Airlines, including Wizz Air, extend the suspension of calls to the mediate East in connection with the war until at least April. Since the U.S.-Israeli attack on Iran on 28 February, rocket fire continues to happen in the region, and land fighting besides continues in Lebanon.
The Polish LOT Airlines suspended direct connections with Dubai until 28 March, with Tel Aviv until 18 April, with Riyadh until 24 March. LOT's voyages to Beirut, which were due to begin on March 31, are suspended until April 30.
The Wizz Air line suspended its flights to Israel until March 29, and its calls from continental Europe to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Amman and Jedddy until mid-September.
Lufthansa members – Austrian Airlines, Swiss, Brussels Airlines and ITA Airways – suspended calls to Tel Aviv until April 2 and to Beirut, Dubai, Amman, Irbil and Abu Dhabi until March 28. Connections to Tehran were suspended until April 30.
French Air France suspended flights to Tel Aviv and Beirut until March 21 and to Dubai and Riyadh until March 20. Dutch KLM will not fly to Riyadh, Dammamu and Dubai until March 28.
The Qatar Airways lines reported that from 18 to 28 March they would proceed to operate to a limited extent, but among the scheduled flights there are inter alia connections between Qatar's capital Doha and Warsaw.
The Turkish Ministry of Transport reported that the home airline Turkish Airlines cancelled scheduled flights to Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Dohy, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain and Dammamu, Saudi Arabia until 19 March, and calls to Iran until 20 March.
American Delta carrier cancelled flights from fresh York City to Tel Aviv until March 31 and from Tel Aviv to fresh York until April 1.
