Błaszczak: draft MON budget shows a decline in defence expenditure

The draft budget for 2027 envisages the first nominal decrease in full planned defence expenditure since 2022 – from PLN 20.1 billion in 2026 to PLN 198.1 billion – and the simplification of their share of GDP from 4.81 to 4.51 percent – indicated the erstwhile head of MON Mariusz Błaszczak.
