The U.S. State Department gave possible approval to sale Australia 40 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters for an estimated $1.95 billion. The reason is the desire to increase Australian military presence in the Indo-Pacific region and the decision to decommission multi-tasking NHIndustris MRH-90 Taipan, reported Reuters.
