"Changes concerning the non-inclusion of the grade from religion lessons in the average grade and the merging of classes of children and young people of different educational ages into larger groups (...) they are harmful from the educational point of view" – emphasized the Presidium of the Polish Episcopal Conference in a letter to the faithful. The bishops considered the simplification of the dimension of teaching religion as discriminatory, and the effort to introduce changes in life as illegal. "The Church will take further appropriate legal steps," it was emphasized.
