Bishops outraged by MEN's actions. "The church will take legal action"

"Changes concerning the non-counting of spiritual lessons into average grades and the combination of classes of children and young people of different educational ages into larger groups (...) are harmful for educational purposes" - emphasised the Bureau of the Polish Episcopal Conference in a letter to the faithful. The bishops considered the simplification of the teaching dimension of religion to be discriminatory, and the effort to make changes in practice to be illegal. "The church will take further appropriate legal steps" - stressed.
