Monument to the Memory of the Cursed Soldiers in Białystok was created on the initiative of the Polish Białystok paper Club Centre of the Cursed Soldiers.
The monument was solemnly unveiled and ordained on 27 September by Fr Prof. Jarosław Wąsowicz chaplain of Mr. president Karol Nawrocki and Fr. Kan. Adam Snarski parish priest of the parish of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Białystok where this monument was erected.
The ceremony was attended by the typical of the president Mr. Adam Andrushkiewicz, who read a letter from the president and placed a wreath at the monument on behalf of the President.
The monument consists of 3 crosses topped together. The first 1 is dedicated to the Memory of the Cursed Soldiers, the next 1 is dedicated to the Memory of Rotmaster Witold Pilecki and the 3rd 1 dedicated to the Memory of the Soldiers of the 5th Vilnius Brigade, which fought for free Poland in Podlasie.
