2 December (Saturday):

12:00 – 14:00: Adam Bujak

Poland. 12 centuries – PREMIERA – Timeless album with photographs of Adam Bujak, enriched with an attractive pen by Prof. Wojciech Polak, concerning Polish past from ancient times to modern times.

14:00 – 16:30: Prof. Andrzej Nowak

History of Poland. Volume 6. Flood and Fire – PREMIERA OF THE YEAR – Deep journey through stormy years, in which the Nobility Republic is heading towards its destiny. In the course of these events, departing from the old ideals, the country becomes an arena of power struggle, and its weakening becomes a feed for the neighbours. Political change, degeneration of nobles, and even bloody civilian war – all this draws a image of increasing instability. However, in the darkness of these events the figure of Jan Sobieski will appear, which is simply a spark of hope for the country in these hard times.

The author warns against relativizing the look at the Church and promotes community building and strengthening Christian values.

Christmas tree. 2000 years of Christmas tradition – IDEAL PRESENT FOR GLOBAL - I'm sorry. The book explores the communicative and symbolism of the Christmas tree as a universal Christmas symbol. Fr. Prof. Józef Naumowicz leads readers through cards of the past of Christmas, from first sources to today's tradition of decorating the tree.

2:30 – 16:00: Prof. Wojciech Roszkowski

Eagle, lion and cross. past and culture of the countries of the Trimor. Volume 2 — NEW – Professor Wojciech Roszkowski's book focuses on the history, culture and cooperation of the countries of Trimorz, from historical times to modern times. By broadening cognition of these regions, taking into account political changes and the importance of the Tri-Sea Initiative, it is simply a rich origin of information supported by suggestive illustrations.
