Poland. 12 centuries – PREMIERA – Timeless album with photographs of Adam Bujak, enriched with an attractive pen by Prof. Wojciech Polak, concerning Polish past from ancient times to modern times.
14:00 – 16:30: Prof. Andrzej Nowak
History of Poland. Volume 6. Flood and Fire – PREMIERA OF THE YEAR – Deep journey through stormy years, in which the Nobility Republic is heading towards its destiny. In the course of these events, departing from the old ideals, the country becomes an arena of power struggle, and its weakening becomes a feed for the neighbours. Political change, degeneration of nobles, and even bloody civilian war – all this draws a image of increasing instability. However, in the darkness of these events the figure of Jan Sobieski will appear, which is simply a spark of hope for the country in these hard times.
